Gateway West Loop is a 17-floor, mixed-use residential high-rise located at 11 S Green St. This building was developed by Lennar Multifamily of Miami and designed by Antunovich Associates of Chicago. Walsh Construction was employed for the 211,800-square-foot build-out. The building features 167 smoke-free, pet-friendly apartments, 95 covered garage spaces and 5,000 square-feet of ground-floor retail opportunity.

Micro-studio, studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments are available in Gateway West Loop. Most units have a private balcony or terrace and a number of 1-bed units also feature a den component. All of these West Loop apartments are fully-furnished with open floor plans, wood plank flooring and walk-in closets. Designer kitchens are outfitted with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. Bathrooms include glass-enclosed shower space.

The usual amenities await tenants of Gateway West Loop including a rooftop pool and sundeck area, fitness center and demonstration kitchen. Perhaps the biggest amenity however, is the immediate access to an abundance of nearby shopping with Mariano’s and Whole Foods and dining in Greektown and on Randolph St.

A LEED-certified project, developers sold Gateway West Loop to Zurich Insurance Group in 2016 for an estimated $84 million despite the building yet becoming fully-leased. The building welcomed its first tenant in 2015.

Gateway West Loop is situated near Milieu, Union West and several other mixed-use projects sprouting up around the West Loop.
