River North’s new, amenity-rich, 15-floor condo tower

Smithfield Properties had luxury in mind while developing their 400 W Huron condo building, which features a mere 26 units. The 15-floor, 196-foot River North high-rise was designed by Berkelhamer Architects. Units within the building range in size from anywhere between 2,144 and 4,931 square-feet.

From Grohe kitchen faucets and Miele appliances in the kitchens to freestanding soaking tubs and Toto toilets in the bathrooms, high-end fixtures and finishes adorn each and every one of 400 W Huron’s luxury condos. Along with private balconies or terraces, each residence has Valcucine cabinetry throughout, custom closet shelving and ten-foot ceilings.

Each condo unit comes with a private, fully-enclosed two-car garage port. Penthouse owners enjoy access to private, fully enclosed garage ports with enough space for three vehicles. Altogether, 400 W Huron’s parking podium holds 73, fully-enclosed, heated garage ports.

The building employs a 24-hour door person to control access to the property at all times. Developers included a 2,700-square-foot, street-level retail component into the design of 400 W Huron.

400 W Huron is located within a couple blocks of several other recent River North developments, including Superior House, which recently broke ground a block to the north and Three Sixty West to the south.
