Side-by-side South Loop residential buildings both developed by CMK Companies

Several South Loop residential buildings have been completed over the past few years, including One333 and 1345 S Wabash. Brininstool + Lynch designed both of these high-rise buildings, while Lend Lease completed the build-outs for developer CMK Companies.

1345 S Wabash joined the Chicago skyline approximately two years before One333, which was completed in 2017. For the 75-foot-wide 1345 S Wabash site, developers envisioned a twelve-floor building containing a total of 144 condominiums.

This 230,000-sq-ft, LEED building was designed with a green roof and high-efficiency, high-performance operating systems. Most units in 1345 S Wabash are 15 feet wide and 49 feet deep with ten-foot ceilings. Large windows and high ceilings help draw natural light into each residence.

At 28 floors, One333 is much taller than its neighbor to the south. The building features a total of 307 luxury apartments, opposed to high-end condos. These South Loop apartments are loaded with every amenity from spacious showers in the bathrooms to stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops in the kitchens. One333 tenants enjoy keyless entry into their rental units.

Other amenities linked with the apartment tower include shared-access to a fully-equipped fitness center, social lounge areas with WiFi and a large demonstration kitchen. Several grilling stations and a fire pit can be found around the building’s outdoor terrace lounge area.

One333 apartments are pet-friendly apartments. With a large, dedicated dog park (Fred Anderson Park) featuring play areas for both big and smaller dogs, the building is ideal for dog lovers. An in-house pet spa makes it easy to keep those furry friends well-groomed throughout the year.

1345 S Wabash and One333 are located on the same block as The Paragon and across the street from Coeval. Rafael Vinoly’s NEMA Chicago recently topped-out a few blocks to the northeast at Roosevelt and Indiana, across from Grant Park.
