Completed mid-2016, The Parker Fulton Market is a 29-floor, mixed-use tower located at 730 W Couch Pl. The 316,080 square-foot building offers a total of 227 luxury apartments for rent. Approximately 9,700 square-feet of retail space fronts Halsted St. to the West.
The Parker Fulton Market’s modern, curved design comes from Booth Hansen. The $120 million project was co-developed by Focus Development, Shapack Partners and Atlantic Realty Partners.
A large indoor / outdoor dining area, bike storage center, fitness and yoga facility as well as an outdoor pool are available to residents. Tenants also have access to the building’s penthouse lounge and 1,100-square-foot outdoor dog patch. A covered porte-cochere was designed into the building along Couch Pl. to allow for more convenient drop-off and pick-up.
The building’s studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bed individual apartment units include Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, stainless steel sinks, quartz kitchen countertops and designer bathroom fixtures. Each unit also features floor-to-ceiling glass, keyless entry and a new washer and dryer.
A total of 162 parking spaces were designed into The Parker Fulton Market’s parking podium where tenants also have access to electric car charging stations. Post-tension concrete was used in the construction of this building. Patterned glass slab spandrels were employed to accentuate building geometry and contrast windows. Sustainable building practices allowed for developers to obtain LEED certification for the building.
The Parker Fulton Market abuts Lake Street Studios to the east.
