Brininstool + Lynch-designed high-rise ‘The Mason’ scheduled for mid-2019 completion

Developer Marquette Companies is behind the 14-floor residential building rising at the southwest corner of Lake and Ada. Upon completion, The Mason will deliver 263 new apartments and 143 parking spaces to the rapidly developing Fulton Market area. Power Construction has been employed to act as general contractor for the build-out of at 180 N Ada.
Brininstool + Lynch designed the high-rise to include a green roof, outdoor lounge area and a 2,500-square foot retail component at ground level. The project replaces a parking lot and the former Takis Royal Foods, Inc. warehouse.
Marquette acquired the site from Sterling Bay, which bought the property in 2014 for around $4 million.
The Mason is one of several developments under-construction in the area. A couple blocks away, contractors are on-pace with the build-out of Twelve01West.
