Old Town Park at 1140 N Wells is the first component in Vancouver-based Onni Group’s ambitious redevelopment plan for the Atrium Village complex in Old Town. The plan calls for the rehabilitation of one, nine-floor building and the creation of three new high-rises. Thirty-two-floor Old Town Park was the first building from this development to join Chicago’s rapidly changing skyline.
The building contains 405 luxury rental units including studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments. These Old Town Chicago apartments range in size from between 550 and 1,690 square-feet and contain condo-level finishes such as floor-to-ceiling windows, Caesarstone vanity countertops and stainless steel range hoods. Wide plank flooring also runs throughout each unit of the building.
A whopping 42,000 square-feet of amenity space await residents of Old Town Park. A heated pool, sports lounge with arcade games and landscaped outdoor area with bocce ball court and kids play area are just a few of the amenities available.
Complimentary wellness and fitness classes are scheduled regularly in Old Town Park’s fully-equipped fitness center. Residents have access to all the cardio and free-weight training equipment necessary to stay active and in shape, without ever having to join a gym.
Over 400 indoor parking spaces were designed into the building including several spaces with dedicated electric car charging stations.
HPA was the architect behind Old Town Park while Onni Group both developed the project and acted as general contractor for the build-out. HPA and Onni are both behind the entire Atrium Village redevelopment project, which includes the high-rise under-construction next door at 202 W Hill.
