A two-tower project, Alta Grand Central, is being co-developed in the South Loop by Chicago-based D2 and Atlanta-based Wood Partners. These buildings will both be 14 floors and together, bring 346 new South Loop apartments and 122 parking spaces to the market. Pappageorge Haymes Partners designed the glassy towers and Walsh Construction will be building them. Alta Grand Central is scheduled for completion in 2020.

Altogether, Alta Grand Central will be a 368,000-square-foot project consisting of efficiency, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments. The address for the East tower at the southwest corner of Harrison and Wells will be 207 W Harrison, while the West tower’s address will be 221 W Harrison.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies await future tenants of Alta Grand Central. Tenants will have access to an abundance of community amenities including a rooftop deck, fitness center and community kitchen as well as a third-floor outdoor lounge between towers.
