Workers wrap up foundation work on new residential building in Old Town. The former site of Father and Son Plaza will soon be home to a new, 11-floor building designed by FitzGerald Associates Architects. The $128 million, mixed-use project features 261 apartments, 186 indoor parking spaces and 30,000 square-feet of ground-floor retail space.

The building, developed by White Oak Realty Partners, will offer a selection of studio, one-, two- and three-bed luxury rental units. Residents of these Old Town apartments will have access to an outdoor terrace area equipped with a pool and an exceptional amount of green space.

The project will include seven affordable housing units and contribute approximately $2.3 million to the city’s Affordable Housing Opportunity Fund. Developers will make a number of streetscape improvements along North Ave. as part of the project
