High-end condos replace pair of low-rises at North and Clark

Fifteen Fifty on the Park is a nine-floor, 32-unit luxury mid-rise condo building currently under-construction at 1550 N Clark St. A joint-development between Chicago’s Golub & Company, LA’s CIM Group and Avoda Group, Fifteen Fifty on the Park replaces one relatively nondescript low-rise and one beloved pancake house. Architects at SCB designed the project.

Individual units within the building will be outfitted with countless luxuries. Gary Lee Partners interior designers were tasked with creating a comfortable, high-end environment within each and every condo. Each unit features a chef-inspired kitchen with Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf cooktop, Wolf wall oven, Miele dishwasher, Kallista sink and custom O’Brien Harris cabinetry.

White oak flooring extends throughout most of the living areas within each condo, while carpet can be found in bedrooms. Bathroom design includes stone flooring and countertops, cast-iron bathtubs and Toto toilets. All luxury condos within Fifteen Fifty on the Park have high ceilings, large windows and expansive open terraces.

The project incorporates the next door Village Theater (1916) building’s red brick and terra cotta façade, which will receive a full restoration and act as an entrance for the new building’s future tenants. A total of 66 indoor parking spaces and a 2,600-square-foot retail component were included in the design of the building.
